Job Summary
Duties/Responsibilities
- Meets new and existing ambulatory patients in the clinic for examination, diagnosis, and development of patient care plans based on the patient’s medical history.
- Administers and orders diagnostic tests such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and blood work, and interprets test results.
- Performs therapeutic procedures such as immunizations, injections, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
- Exercises professional judgment regarding consultation with supervising physicians concerning appropriate treatment.
- Develops and implements patient care plans, instructs and counsels patients, and records progress.
- Prescribes medications to the extent allowable by state guidelines and clinic regulations.
- Provides general health education regarding matters such as proper diet, family planning, and health maintenance.
- Assists physicians with emergency treatments and more complex procedures.
- Provides backup coverage for our clinic located in Maricopa, AZ.

- Proficient in charting and completing tasks in an EMR system.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Conducts routine data entry management for accounting records including accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable.
- Reviews and verifies billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alerts supervisory staff of any discrepancies.
- Forwards checks to vendors for products and services rendered.
- Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Distributes accounting and MIS reports as directed.

- Oversees the waiting area, coordinates patient movement, reports problems or irregularities.

Job Summary
Our company seeks to hire a part-time (leading to full-time) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) providing evaluation and psychological treatment services to individuals and couples over the age of 14 to promote optimum mental health. Our goal is to expand our Mental Health Services with the best LPC candidate and grow our business.
The ideal LPC candidate should possess specialized training in the diagnosis and psychological treatment of mental, behavioral and emotional illnesses, as well as psychological disorders. Experience with counseling patients in overcoming anxieties arising from the COVID-19 pandemic a plus.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Counsels patients individually to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, and making changes. Maintains confidentiality of records relating to clients’ treatment.
- Guides clients in the development of skills and strategies to deal with their problems. Encourages clients to express their feelings and to discuss what is happening in their lives and helps them develop insight into themselves and their relationships.
- Collects information about clients through interviews, observations, and tests. Prepares and maintains treatment records and reports.
- Evaluates clients’ physical or mental condition based on a review of client information. Develops and implements treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge. Acts as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
- Our LPC’s collaborate with our Internal Medicine Providers (MD’s, NP’s, and PA’s) and our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in coordinating the care and treatment of patients and staff to provide a more holistic approach to patient care.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
- Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling or a related field is required. Master’s degree preferred.
- The candidate must be licensed to practice in Arizona.
